A facilitation script for critiques that stay focused, time-boxed, and actionable—so teams leave with decisions, not opinions.

Design Crit Flow - Decision-Centric Agenda

The Script

  1. Set the goal: what decision is needed?
  2. Context first: audience, constraints, success metric.
  3. Show, don’t tell: 2–3 key screens max.
  4. Silent review: 2 minutes to absorb.
  5. Feedback round: facts and impacts, not tastes.
  6. Decision: capture go/no-go and owners.
  7. Next steps: timeline, owners, risks.

Rules of Engagement

  • One facilitator, one scribe. Presenter doesn’t defend—just clarifies.
  • Cap to 30–40 minutes; park bikesheds.
  • Use a decision log; update design system if components change.
